Secure bands, often referred to as tire bands or run-flat bands, are a form of internal tire support. They are installed on a vehicle's wheel, inside the tire, to act as a failsafe system. In the event of a puncture, the band prevents the tire from completely collapsing, allowing the vehicle to continue to be driven for a limited distance. This is a form of run-flat technology.
